At 50 years of age Karl became the father of Anna Schulte Dodge, Nebraska, 5 September, 1883. Karl was born in Oberluttgenau, West Prussia, area near Wippenfurth. He came to America in May 22,1880, with his wife, six children and brother, William Schulte a batchelor. He died October 18, 1917 and is buried in St. Joseph's cemetery about three miles southeast of Dodge Nebraska.
The last two children were born in Nebraska, in the Olean area, north of Dodge Nebraska. Karl and Louise (Walders) Schulte left Wippenfurth, Germany where they belonged to the Saint Nicholas Church and lived in Grohs Blumbeig (flower Hill) in Wippenfurth . They settled north of the Olean area and engaged in farming, They built a $2,500.00 home from the $13,000.00 dollars in cash they had brought from Germany to start their lives. Their new home and the amount of money were very impressive for those times. Their passport written in Koln, West Prussia and dated March 22nd 1880, has been translated: underwrote that the king's regime approved that through this document Karl Joseph Schulte, 47 years old, born in Oberluttgenau near Wippenfurth Grohs Blumbeig (flower Hill) in the area of Wippenfurth. Of his application of immigration with wife Louise, born (Walders) and their children (named above). This document for release is given to those before mentioned persons and with the same lose their citizenship in Prussia. This document is valid of six months, if not used they would automatically retain their citizenship, # 18 this authority is granted under Regulation of June 1870 by page 355. John Schulte has the original Passport in Casper, Wyoming.

Mary Elizabeth was born at Glencoe, Nebraska in the Olean's area 8 miles south west of Snyder, Nebraska in a sod hut. Mary was the daughter of Henry Sturbaum and Mary Elizabeth Wilpers.
Mary died 30 June, 1928 Brunswick, Nebraska, at 56 years of age. At 25 years of age Mary became the mother of Emil Schulte Olean's area near Dodge, Nebraska, 22 October, 1897. At 28 years of age Mary became the mother of Edward Schulte Dodge, Nebraska, 28 December, 1900. At 30 years of age Mary became the mother of Anne M. Schulte Dodge, Nebraska, 27 October, 1902. Anne died 16 October, 1992 Bellevue, Nebraska, at 89 years of age. Her body was interred 19 October, 1992 Bellevue, Nebraska, Bellevue Cemetery. Anne M. Kouba services were held Monday for Anne M. Kouba of Bellevue. She died Friday at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by husband, Irvin E.. She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Robert and Maxine of Bellevue, Irvin E. Jr. and Marie of Union, Bernard and Winnie of Bellevue; daughter, Marie Anne Tiehen of Bellevue; sister, Collette ball of Bellevue; 26 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren. Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellevue. Burial was at Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial's are suggested for the Columban fathers and St. Mary's educational Endowment Fund. Bellevue Memorial funeral chapel was in charge of arrangements.

THE CREIGHTON NEWS CREIGHTON NEBRASKA REYNOLDS-SCHULTE WEDDING A very pretty June wedding occurred at the St. Ludger's Catholic Church on Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock, when Miss Cecilia Mary Reynolds of this city and Joseph Schulte of Brunswick were united in wedlock. Father Windolph pronounced the words that made them man and wife. In the presence of relatives and Friends. The couple was attended by Emil Schulte, brother of the groom and Miss Enola Reynolds, sister of the bride.
Mrs. Schulte looked charming in a gown of pale pink crepe trimmed in white silk net. She wore a white hat with small silk veil and white slippers. She carried a bouquet of tea roses. The maid of honor was attired in a dress of pale blue net and carried a bouquet of sweet peas.
Following the ceremony the bridal party and relatives journeyed to the home of the groom near Brunswick, and partook of a three course wedding breakfast at 10 o'clock. At the bride's table the color scheme of pink and white was carried out, with a large pyramid wedding cake centering the table, decorated with pink roses. Four Young ladies serving at the table wore white silk dresses with pink organdy aprons.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Reynolds and was reared to Young womanhood in Brunswick, where this romance began. She was a junior at St. Ludger's academy and also attended the public school at Brunswick. She is a young lady of pleasant personality, and possesses many sterling qualities. She has a host of friends both in Creighton and Brunswick where she formerly lived.
The groom is an enterprising young farmer of the Brunswick vicinity, and has made a success in his chosen vocation. He also attended the academy in Creighton.
The newlyweds left the same day on a honeymoon trip to a Black Hills, and will spend about ten days taking in the sites and visiting at Lead S. D., where Mr. Schulte's two sisters reside. Upon their return home they will make their future home on a farm North of Brunswick.
Out of town guests at the nuptial event were Mrs. Ernest Richter and family of O'Neill. Mrs. Richter is an aunt of Mrs. Schulte.

Schulte-Reynolds Creighton, Neb., June 20--Special to the News: A. pretty wedding took place this morning at 7 o'clock at St. Ludger's Catholic Church, when Miss Cecilia Reynolds became the bride of Joseph Schulte, the Rev. William Windolph reforming the ceremony and celebrating the nuptial mass. They were attended by Miss Enola Reynolds, sister of the bride and Emil Schulte, brother of the bridegroom.
Immediately following the ceremony, the bridal party and immediate relatives were served a three course wedding breakfast at the home of the bridegroom's father, Joseph Schulte Sr., near Brunswick. Mrs. Schulte was charming in a gown of pink silk crepe with net trimmings. She wore a white hat and carried an arm bouquet of bride's roses. The bride's maid wore a gown of pale blue net.
Mrs. Schulte is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Reynolds and has lived in Creighton but two years. During that time she has endeared herself to many acquaintances made here. She resided at Brunswick, where she received her education. She also attended St. Ludger's academy since coming here.
Mr. Schulte is the son of Joseph Schulte Sr., of Brunswick, and has spent most of his life in that community. He received his education in the Brunswick schools, and since that time has assisted his father on the farm.
After a two weeks' honeymoon trip to the Black Hills Mr. and Mrs. Schulte will reside on the farm with his father.

He was delivered in the family home one mile north of Brunswick Nebraska by Dr. Craft.
